The Canadian dream of owning a home is disappearing quickly for most.   We are still years away from meeting the needs of yesterday.   If we are going to build Affordable Housing we need to define what that means and we need to act appropriately.   To date our Investments in housing initiatives have not met the demand and need to be remodeled.  Efforts to get affordable housing to those who need it need to be the priority.  I will be a strong advocate for a balance of options for home owners and renters.  I support efforts to remove the years old red-tape protocols which slow the process of constructing homes, contributing to their cost.
